What’s the hiring process? It depends

Every team at impact.com has its own unique hiring process. For some positions, we can make a decision after just a few interactions. Highly technical roles may require more touchpoints along the way. In general, here’s what you can expect once you submit an application.

Why this role is exciting:

The Global Payroll Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all payrolls, as well as responsible for overseeing the payroll teams for US, EMEA and APAC. Responsibilities include all aspects of pay administration including preparation, documentation, disbursement of payroll checks and payroll taxes and will require working closely with the various payroll vendors in order to ensure payroll deadlines, quality of service, statutory compliance, and operational performance are met. This role will report directly into the Director of Finance Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full payroll function from inception to end
  • Responsible for all aspects of global payroll function.
  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
  • Coordinate with and provide assistance to Finance and HR to ensure the efficient operation of the payroll function
  • Manage and oversee the reporting from HRIS and payroll systems to ensure consistency between systems and with source records.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll team.
  • Uplift current payroll operations and streamline processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and best-in-class services
  • Address and provide timely response to notices and all matters raised by all external stakeholders
  • Collaboration with the payroll provider and tax advisors may be appropriate for certain matters.
  • Stay current on regulations, labor laws impacting payroll process and stay compliant for all payroll tax jurisdictions in which we operate.
  • Ensure that practices and procedures in payroll comply with all statutory requirements to liaise with all divisions and departments, and provide assistance to management and staff on payroll related matters
  • Oversee/process all annual tax certificates
  • Work with external auditors on audits, substantive testing, walkthroughs, and all other information gathering related to payroll
  • Prepares reports or returns summarizing all payroll-related expenditures
  • Assists with the selection and implementation of 3rd party payroll processors
  • Oversea and Complete the full accounting function relating to payroll at the end of each month, quarter and year
  • Reconcile and process funding to pension and medical providers
  • Establish working relationship with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that quality customer service is provided by processing the payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-state payroll experience in private and public company environments; international payroll and system implementation (ADP/Ramco) experience preferred

Your Role at Impact:

You will work with both the local finance team involved in the day-day core accounting functions within the business and the group Corporate Accounting team.Carrying out effective financial controls over the functions allocated, as well as the ability to adapt and implement change to the existing processes within the financial control environment. What You'll Do:

  • Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex accounting activities, with a specialised focus on global clearing house, intercompany and fx accounting. 
  • Manage a team of 3, acting as first reviewer on the month end close procedures related to the areas of responsibility within the team ensuring accurate and timely close each month. 
  • Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed, reviewed and signed off each month. 
  • Work closely with other business units and cross functional teams to implement new initiatives and projects
  • Provide support and assistance to the technical accounting department on an ad hoc basis.
  • Partner with the treasury team  to ensure that fx risk is effectively mitigated through strategic analysis and decision making on our cross country transactions.

What You Have:

  • Qualified CA(SA)

Your Role at Impact:

The UX Design Lead will own and drive the design for multiple products at Impact.com. As the Product Manager of impact.com’s Automation/Workflows and AI team, you will be responsible for building innovative products that provide our customers with powerful tools to find, form, and foster productive partnerships. 

You will play a critical role in shaping impact.com’s partner experience offerings by working closely with our Data Science team to generate meaningful insights and enable the next best step at scale. The Product Manager requires at least 6 years of experience successfully managing, growing, and commercializing SAAS software products. The impact.com Channel Partnership team works with hundreds of partners to source new business and to ensure impact.com clients are supported by a full ecosystem. The team is cross-organizational in nature, working closely with sales, product, success, marketing, legal, and more.

The Affiliate Marketing Manager reports directly to the VP of Channel Partnerships and is responsible for the strategy, setup, and execution of impact.com's in-house affiliate program. Our program will allow our entire ecosystem - publishers, influencers, brands, agencies, technology partners, consultants, and more - to refer any actor (publishers, influencers, brands, etc) to impact.com.

This will be a highly complex program spanning traditional traffic-based referrals, lead registration forms, email and in-person introductions, reseller deals, and more. We will use the cutting edge of impact.com's software, be the first users of any new feature, and drive product roadmap with our requirements. The program will demand an exceptional level of execution. As the home of partnerships, we expect our partnership program to be the global gold standard - the best partnerships program in the world; and you will run it.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Operate the day-to-day of the impact.com affiliate program - partner discovery & recruitment, contracting & payments, partner engagement, tracking and optimization, monitoring, placements, and more. You will be the face of the program to the world and the owner of its execution internally.
  • Help drive the strategy behind the affiliate program. The importance of the program is such that the most senior levels of the company are involved in its strategy. You will be a part of these conversations, lobbying for the best path forward based on your unique insight as the person closest to the program.
  • Project manage the setup of the program. This highly complex program will affect most departments in impact.com to some extent and require collaboration across the company. There will be many projects and competing priorities. While you will have the full buy-in and support of leadership, you will be responsible for driving progress in these initiatives.
  • Report to leadership regularly on progress, trends, opportunities, and issues
  • Interface with our product teams to understand new features and capabilities as soon as they come out, and to drive requirements for additional capabilities based on our goals with the program

Your Role at Impact:

This person is an expert at Impact technology and will be tasked to deliver custom engineering and advanced technical support to customers that buy those services, or as determined by the Impact leadership team. As an Senior Technical Services Engineer, you will resolve or escalate Advanced Technical troubleshooting issues in a timely and efficient manner as well as assisting with proposing technical solutions and tech issues for our clients. Your Role at Impact:

The Senior DevOps Engineer is accountable for actively engaging in the creation and advancement of automated, containerized cloud application platforms. They are tasked with conceptualizing and implementing DevOps processes that leverage these platforms effectively. Serving as a subject matter expert, they troubleshoot and resolve intricate, multi-tier architecture issues spanning diverse platforms. In this role, the Senior DevOps Engineer meticulously plans and executes technical tasks related to the deployment and upkeep of internal cloud enterprise-shared virtualization infrastructure. What You'll Do:

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools within the DevOps squad, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives and future needs
  • Take a proactive approach to bug triage, including root cause analysis and fixing, to ensure the stability and reliability of the systems and applications supported by the DevOps team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define and achieve departmental and organizational objectives on a quarterly basis.

What You Have:

  • Extensive experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat), including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Linux networking concepts, including IP addressing, routing, firewalls (e.g., iptables), and network Knowledge of Linux security best practices, including user management, permissions, and encryption.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning techniques for Linux systems, including optimizing kernel parameters, disk I/O tuning, memory management, and CPU utilization.
  • A good understanding of IaC ( infrastructure of code ) principles and adopting these methods to drive automation and self service.
